Too Old To Farm? Never!
Last Sunday, I came within a couple of millimetres of cutting my leg off with a chainsaw – in fact the chain ripped my jeans and left a couple of small cuts and abrasions on my leg. Very lucky! Then on Monday morning, whilst carrying a bag of bentonite weighing about 20 kgs, I tripped and fell down the face of a dam bruising my ribs. Farming is dangerous and becomes more dangerous as we get older.
